Blair's cousin was having his wedding reception there too that weekend so we got to see his extended family. His parents and the Rileys came up there for the reception, so we got to do a lot of touristy things with them.
Both kids did amazing on the airplane and we were stuck on the runway for 2 extra hours before take-off. I'm so proud of Lydia for entertaining herself with all the goodies I brought with us. And very proud of William for doing so well on his first flight...he was a champ at sleeping and eating.
At the wedding reception for Adam, Blair's cousin, Uncle Gary was there too! It was a black tie reception and the food/buffets were out of this world.
Aunt Renee and Uncle Paul watched William that night and Lydia came with us to the party. She had a lot of fun with Caroline and Charlotte.
The band was awesome! There were probably 14 people just in the band. The girls loved to dance.
The rest of the trip was spent with Paul and family. We played outside, went to a farm and picked veggies and fruit, and played games with Sam and Kate. William loved Philadelphia because the weather was not humid or sticky for him.
The actually have a bouncy house of their own and Lydia was so excited about it!
She also loved their playscape. Her and Kate climbed to the top while Sam went swinging.
Sam is really quite the athlete. He kicked, threw and hit the ball really well.
William was all smiles at Uncle Paul's house and quite a flirt with Aunt Renee...she loved it.
Tried to get a good picture of Uncle Paul and William...
And they tried to get a good picture of me and Kate. She cracks me up! The last morning we were there, she actually let me hold her for a little while.
The farm was so much fun! Lydia loved picking the veggies and fruit. It was a hot day but William was in the Bjorn hanging in there through it all.
Then we went home and cooked/ate what the kids picked.
Thanks Aunt Renee for bringing out all the great baby items for William to enjoy during our visit.
This was actually in Blair's parents hotel room...I love his sly look - "Hey Ladies, why don't you join me on my zebra print pillow"
